● Day 2: Audit principles and the preparation for and initiation of an audit
● Day 3: On-site audit activities
● Day 4: Closing of the audit
● Day 5: Certification exam preparation

Examination

The exam meets all PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) requirements and covers the following competency domains:

● Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of an AI management system
● Domain 2: AI management system requirements
● Domain 3: Fundamental audit concepts and principles
● Domain 4: Preparing an ISO/IEC 42001 audit
● Domain 5: Conducting an ISO/IEC 42001 audit
● Domain 6: Closing an ISO/IEC 42001 audit
● Domain 7: Managing an ISO/IEC 42001 audit programme

Certification

After passing the exam, participants can apply for one of the following PECB credentials based on their experience:

● Provisional Auditor: no experience required
● Auditor: 2 years professional experience including 1 year in AI, plus 200 hours of audit activities
● Lead Auditor: 5 years professional experience including 2 years in AI, plus 300 hours of audit activities
● Senior Lead Auditor: 10 years professional experience including 7 years in AI, plus 1,000 hours of audit activities

All credentials require signing the PECB Code of Ethics.

● Certification and examination fees are included in the price of the training course.
● Participants will be provided with training course material containing over 450 pages of explanatory information, examples, best practices, exercises, and quizzes.
● An attestation of course completion worth 31 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits will be issued to participants who attended the training course.
● Candidates who fail the exam can retake it within 12 months following the initial attempt for free.
